Addicted to CAS  is having a challenge; Oriental.  I have quite a few oriental stamps so I will enter a few.  Sadly I want to add so much when I start to stamp with them but I am giving CAS my best shot.

I used an image by Melanie Sage, Vickie Enkoff's daughter.  Vickie was the source of many of my stamps before she passed away suddenly a few years ago.  Their stamps can now be found at Vickie Enkoff & Melanie Sage Stamps Alluring Impressions.  When we lose an online friend the loss is as profound as if you were neighbors.  I look at the stamps I have from Vickie, with great love, and miss her inspiration and guidance and online presence.

I used alcohol ink to stomp out a background and stamped the image with Stazon.  There is a strip of embossing paste colored with some pearl powder. This is my first time using embossing paste.  YUM!

Thank you for visiting!

  3. So sorry about the loss of your friend but how lovely that you have something tangible and beautiful to remind you of her. Such a fantastic stamp and the red really makes it pop.
