Aunt Ellies Strawberry Cake

Aunt Ellie's Strawberry Cake


Pre-heat Oven to 375



1 Cup Flour

2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

1/2 Cup Sugar

1/2 Cup Milk

1 Egg

2 Tablespoons Canola Oil


Beat 2 Minutes and then spread into greased (Pam works) 8" square pan.


Layer on;

1 & 1/2 Cups Sliced Strawberries



Topping;

1/2 Cup Flour

1/2 Cup Sugar

Mix together then Cut in until crumbly;

1/4 cup Margerine (cold, cut into small pieces and then use pastry blender or two knives to cut til crumbly)


Sprinkle topping on top of sliced strawberries. Bake 35 - 40 minutes.
