Today I could not decide on a card so I went through some scraps and came across this window cut out on a piece of thin white cardstock.  I have a feeling I was testing a sizzix die on my Tim Holtz movers and shakers tray and I just used whatever cardstock was handy.  After I glued the wallpaper on and made the wainscoting on the score pal the paper felt more substantial.  It needs to be at least a little sturdy in order to lay flat and not buckle.  The clear plastic is then glued behind the window.

Santa is stamped and then masked while I made a sky background with Distress inks.  I glued a couple snowflakes on and made a box within the window to drop the sequins into.  In the picture it looks like Santa has sequin cheeks...he seems to like those big sequins covering his rosy cheeks.

The tree.... ahhh the tree.  I am no Kittie Caraccioli.  She is amazing!  I die cut eight small trees and glued them to a brown strip.  Then I die cut the fir branches.. four at a time, over and over and over.  Gluing fir branches to the trees was pretty funny as I glued it down and it popped off.  I glued it down and it popped off.  Just as I was about to give up... I started using tweezers.   Tweezers works like a charm!

The washi tape floor is a perfect spot for my black kitty who is probably wondering who that peeping tom is. Right above the cat you may see some stitching.  Doesn't everyone have stitched walls?  Pretend it's dust or large catnip.

I do have fun making these shaker cards.
