Inside Snowman's House

I spent most of the day making a snowman card for the Mod Squad Challenge Blog.  Hope I am not late like I was last week!!

I used water color paper to stamp the two whimsical trees and the snowman (Recollection's Michaels) on a separate piece of paper.  I used watercolor to make the trees pink because as you must know, all snowmen keep pink trees in their houses.  The snowman was covered in stickles to make him glimmerific.

I used a window die from Impression Obsession and curtains from Taylored Expressions.  Then, I used a stamp from a Taylored Expressions called From My Window.   There are also die cut trees from IO.
Once again I used the diagonal washi tape to create a floor.  I am looking for a source for more diagonal washi if anyone knows where I can find some.
This is not a shaker card just a window card from a snowman's house.  :)

I want to add that my card is mounted on GinaK cardstock which is one of the few cardstocks that is thick enough to hold the two layers without buckling.

  2. Oh isn't this fantastic? I did not know they only had pink trees, but I bet Lee did! lol So fun! Love all of your little details and accents. I agree, I only use Pure Luxury for my card bases, Gina has made me a paper snob! When I pick up another card that doesn't use it I am totally turned off lol Love your card, glad you made the deadline this week! lol Now I must go post my snowmen! Merry Merry! (oh and I loved your last comment, coming from STV to my Blog--my question to you is, did my Mother call you? hahaha)
