Yesterday my wonderful husband bought me a new laptop so that I can use my Silhouette in my craft room.  I spent all day trying to download the Silhouette program onto the new computer and it just hung up.  I could not fully take it off and I couldn't fully get it to load.  Finally, after literally taking all day, I noticed a Legacy version download and gave it a try.  Voila!

So, my first cut was the tree I used on this tag.

I used Distress ink to color the backgroud of the tag and cut two snow banks out of paper.  I covered them with some flake white glitter.  There is some pink and blue in it that I did not notice until I added the blue ribbon.  The JOY is cut from my new Hero Arts alphabet die set then covered with glitter.

Deer trio die is Impression Obsession.  I actually cut a second baby and painted a red nose on it...and applied it with temporary adhesive.  When my camera battery is charged I will take another picture as it really looks.

  2. Congratulations on your new Silhouette and laptop! I would love to have either one! Still in the dark ages here with a Cuttlebug and desktop PC, but I'm not complaining - I love them both! I look forward to seeing all your lovely creations with your new toys! If this is any indication - wowzers! Love your gorgeous tag! So many different and lavish details to look at! Well done!
