Yesterday I was able to create a few cards.  I must thank all of the other blogs I visit, and they frequently comment here, for giving me the inspiration to create.  Feeling low after losing Miss Booey on Friday, I have found myself sitting and staring at my "stuff" more than actually doing.

I love this first card.  It started out with the houses which are really not winter houses until I slap some white paint and glitter on their roof.  Then I started out with just a white piece of card and that was going to be the background when I finally remembered I could ink up the snow embossing folder and get snow and blue sky.  I LOVE the way it looks.

The inspiration for the top piece came from a video I had watched earlier and I am sorry that I did not write it down.  It was contrasting paper with colors that picked up the colors I used in the house.  Then I had all of this empty space between here and there and I was not happy as CAS is a struggle for me.  So.. pulled out those HUGE colorful brads and used them along the top to anchor my tag NOEL.

The houses seemed whimsical and so I feel as though it all fits!
The stamp is Penny Black I think.  I am thinking of maybe going outside and tossing some white paint over the palm trees and green lawn.  OR, better idea, and one that hubby will approve of... today I may set up the Christmas Village!  :)
