Today I was trying out a new rental stamp I had received from Raisin Boat. I signed up for the two per month subscription and they arrived almost two weeks ago but this is the first time I have tried them.

I won't go into detail about membership, but I will say I am happy with the quality and choices.  As a matter of fact I did decide to purchase the wreath stamp that I am posting today.

I used a few different greens to stamp the wreath and then a few different greens to stamp the extra small fir branch.  As usual my photo's do not do it justice.  I used Red Satin Versafine for the bow and then dried everything with the heat gun.  Next I took an embossing pen and dotted and scribbled in a few places before I sprinkled gold embossing powder and heat set that.  The gold stripe was actually a stamp but for some reason my Versamark pad, even though freshly re-inked, will not give an even stamping.  I am wondering if the foam has broken down?

I decided to use the embossing pen and a ruler and fill in the places that did not stamp and also added the sentiment. (GinaK)  I added more embossing ink in spots on the ribbon and balls trying to get more blotchy so that it was not so exact.

I mounted the watercolor panel onto a GinaK card weight ivory cardstock.  I LOVE GinaK paper and am getting ready to place an order for more.  Have I told you about the lost order of paper from GinaK, when they sent it to my old address and the jerks there, kept it?  Grrrr!  I hope they run out of tp and have to use it for that. *smile*
